How to Use a .rar, .zip or .7z File

Ever wonder what to do with those pesky .rar/.zip/.7z files? Here's how to access what's in them.

Things You’ll Need:

• WinRAR or WinZip or 7zip
• A computer
• Sense

1. Download an uncompressing program such as WinRAR ( http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4-10745708.html?tag=lst-1 ) and install it.
2. The .rar/.zip/.7z file should now have a purple blue and green stack of books as the icon. Double click on it to open the file.
3. Select the files you wish to use (hold shift to select more than one) and then select extract. Specify where you would like to extract the file, and voila! You're done!
