How to Have Time with Your Husband with Kids in the House
Step1
Depending on schedules, one or both of you may need a nap … take a power nap before or right after dinner … 20 minutes, tops!! Refresh your brain and your body to keep you going a little bit later that night!!
Step2
Heat up the Jacuzzi to at least 101 degrees in the wintertime, open the cover to let it breathe of the chemicals and add some scented spa splash to create the mood … a nice rose or tropical smell is great in the tub; or try nice relaxing eucalyptus or peppermint!
Step3
Send the kids to bed as early as you possibly can, or set them up with a movie and popcorn while you have your time to yourselves.
Step4
Now, it’s your turn! Use your imagination … take the time together to listen, learn, belong, believe and love each other. Talk about dreams and where you want to go, places you want to see, who you want to be.
Step5
Music is always a good option if you have it available … creates a mood and keeps other noises away. If you end up behind closed-locked doors … music videos are great too.
