Every bride wants to feel special on her wedding day, but she also wants to make sure her guests feel welcome and important as well. An inexpensive and easy way to do that is by making bubble wedding favors for each guest to take home with them after the reception.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 to 2 spools of 1" satin ribbon
  • 1 package of plain, undecorated wedding bubbles
  • 1 packet of self-adhesive, blank address labels for use with laser jet printers
  • Hot glue gun
  1. Step 1

Find your ribbon, bubbles and glue gun at any local craft store. You may be able to find the address labels there too, but the best place for those may be an office supply store.

  2. Step 2

Refer to the address label packaging to format your printer to align your text correctly on the labels.

  3. Step 3

After you have finished formatting for your labels, you’re ready to start designing them. Experiment with different fonts and the "Clip-Art" option if using Microsoft Word. The traditional look of the label would have the bride’s and groom’s first names followed by the wedding date, and any border or characters you wish to add.

  4. Step 4

When finished designing, print your labels out one sheet at a time to be sure they look right. If everything looks okay, carefully peel them off and wrap them around each bottle of bubbles.

  5. Step 5

While the glue gun is warming, begin trimming your ribbon into several 6- to 8-inch pieces.

  6. Step 6

Place a small stream of glue on the first piece of ribbon. Gently wrap it around the neck of the bubble bottle, leaving a couple loose ends to hang in the front, forming a bow.

Tips & Warnings
  • Guests can use the bubbles in place of rice when you make your grand exit.
  • Most sheets of address labels hold about 20 to 30 labels.
