How to Make a Floating Candle Centerpiece
When it comes to planning a wedding, most brides are eager to find ways to save money. Making your own centerpieces is an excellent way to do this. With just a little time and effort, and not much money, anyone can make their own floating candle centerpiece to display at their upcoming wedding. Here's how.
Things You'll Need
- Large floating candles
- Medium-size glass bowls

1
Make a trip to your local craft store, as all of the items for the centerpiece should be available there. Since you will most likely be buying in bulk, let the cashier know you are buying these items for your own wedding. Sometimes they will give you a break on a large order such as this, as long as the items aren't already on sale.

Tips & Warnings
Nominate a trusted friend or family member to light the candles just before the reception, as you will be very busy being the bride.
Try alternating the color of your rose petals, to create more of an effect around each centerpiece.
If the color of the stones seems a little dull next to the table cloth, try placing a mirror under the centerpiece to better reflect the stones' color.
