How to Make a Spiced Green Tea Blend
I love green tea by itself. I drink it nearly every day. But sometimes, I crave a little more excitement. A little more spice. So, I've learned how to give it some spice!
Since green tea has such a delicate flavor, it works well in a spice blend. The ginger and cinnamon are reminiscent of holiday baking, such as pumpkin and apple pie, while the orange peel adds a bright citrus flavor to the blend.
You can either prepare it as usual with hot water, or mix it with milk and some honey for a green tea spiced chai blend. Add 1 tsp. whole allspice to the blend if you decide you want to make chai.
