Use your MP3-enabled phone for your ringtones. If you're a lucky owner of an iPhone or the LG MUSIQ, for instance, your mobile phone is specially designed to host music and MP3's. Downloading your favorite songs? Besides enjoying them in their entirety, use them as ringtones.

Find out what specials your mobile phone provider offers on ringtones. Many services offer bundle prices for text messaging and email capabilities, as well as ringtones. See what deals you can land by speaking with a service representative.

Surf the Internet and choose a direct ringtone provider. There are plenty of websites that cater to ringtones wholly and offer you discount membership pricing. One site to check out is Jamster and another popular ringtone provider is Thumbplay.
Step5
Make your own ringtones. If your phone model is compatible with a data file memory card, you may be able to transfer files from your PC straight to your phone. The sound quality may not be up to par, but if you have song editing software, compress the file to sound its best on your mobile.

Buy several ringtones at once. You often save when you buy a few at a time instead of one by one.
