Didn't know where to start? Don't have the connections? Can't find the vendors to give you free products to entice? Well, your searching is over. This article will teach you the basics in getting your offer participation program.

An account with Commission Junction (www.cj.com)
Basic HTML skills

Step1

You need to register an account on Commission Junction, located at www.cj.com

Step2

Following the instructions on Commission Junction, begin selecting advertisers that have products and services in demand (obvious, but so many miss this). Some advertisers may require you to have a website initially, and you can set up a free site/host with a free domain (www.free-webhosts.com). Just do a google search on "Free Web Hosting"

Step3

Now you need to locate some hot products that your visitors/customers would want to have more than anything. A starting point would be to peruse the eBay What's Hots? list (http://pages.ebay.com/sellercentral/whatshot.html). You will also keep a record of different vendors and prices for these products that you are selecting.

Step4

Now for the math! You will calculate the number offers that your visitor must participate from your advertiser list on cj.com, that will pay for the cost of this HOT item, plus a minimum 10% profit. Be prepared to repeat steps 3 and 4 many times before proceeding to step 5.

Step5

No for the fun (that is if you like web page design otherwise you can ask a friend or hire off of freelance sites such as guru.com, rentacoder.com or scriptlance.com). You will then create html page(s) present your giveaway and then the accompanying advertiser participation pages with links (including your affiliate id).

Step6

From the reports that you receive from Commission Junction, you will know who has participated in the required number of offers that receives the promised merchandise. Statistically, you will never get 100% offer participation, most will only participate in 1 or 2 offers.
