How to Make a Chocolate Mousse Dessert

An elegant dessert is a great way to top off any dinner, and this recipe is not only delicious but easy. Serve this no-bake dessert hot or cold and you’ll have guests screaming for more.

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 12 oz. bag Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 cup Hot milk
  • 1-4 tbsp. Rum or amaretto or brandy
  • Whipped cream
  • Garnish (optional)

Step1
Combine chocolate chips, sugar and eggs using a blender at a medium speed. Blend until it becomes a thick consistency.
Step2
Pour in the hot milk and liquor of your choice. Blend on a medium speed until it is completely mixed and a smooth, mousse-like texture.
Step3
Immediately pour into a fancy, shallow glass. Prepare to serve or place in refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
Step4
When ready to serve, dot the center with whipped cream. For a fancier look add some kind of garnish that tastes good with chocolate, such as a sprig of mint or a raspberry.

Tips & Warnings

  • Martini, margarita, and wine glasses work best.
