The best green beans are my marinated green beans. They make eating vegetables a good thing for kids and adults alike. Here's how to make them.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 pound of steamed green beans
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/2 medium onion in thin slices
  • 4 ounces of Italian dressing
  • large bowl
  1. Step 1

    Place the pound of steamed green beans and sliced onion in the large bowl

  2. Step 2

    Season the green beans and onion with the garlic salt and pepper.

  3. Step 3

    Mix the Italian dressing into the large bowl of seasoned green beans.

  4. Step 4

    Allow this to marinate in the refrigerator for about 4 to 6 hours. If you like, you can marinate all night as well.

  5. Step 5

    To serve, drain the excess marinade.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are serving more than 4 or 5 people, use 2 pounds of green beans instead of just one.
  • Try sprinkling parsley as garnish on the green beans before serving.
