So, you've decided you're finally going to consolidate all your domain names in one place?. The process for transferring from ResellerClub to eNom is easy if you follow the complete step-by-step instructions below.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A domain registered at ResellerClub
  • Your login and password for your ResellerClub account
  • Login and password information for your account at eNom, eNomCentral, or BulkRegister
  1. Step 1

Verify that the domain name is eligible for transfer -- that is, that the name has been registered for at least 60 days, is not expired, and is not in Registrar Lock status.

  2. Step 2

To confirm that the contact information is accurate (Registrant and Administrative email addresses must be correct, because they are used in the transfer process), log on to your account at ResellerClub.com

  3. Step 3

Click the domain name, click "Modify Contact Details, and update the contact information using either your Contact Database or creating a new contact.

  4. Step 4

To obtain the domain authorization code, click the domain name. In the "Order Information" section, click on the link in the "Domain Secret" field to view your Domain Secret. Record it to use when submitting the transfer request.

  5. Step 5

Next, unlock the domain. If you are a reseller, go to "Products" > "Domain Registration" > "Bulk Actions" > "Bulk Lock/Unlock". If you are a customer, go to "Domains" > "Domain Registration" > "Bulk Actions" > "Bulk Lock/Unlock".

  6. Step 6

Type the domain names you want to unlock, and click "Unlock Orders".

  7. Step 7

Now you're ready to create the transfer request at eNom.

  8. Step 8

Log on to your account at eNom, eNomCentral, or BulkRegister.

  9. Step 9

In the "DOMAINS" menu, click "transfer a domain name".

  10. Step 10

Select "Auto verification" and click "next".

  11. Step 11

Type in the domain name you want to transfer, a comma, a space, and then the authorization code. If you have more domains, hit "Enter" and type in the information for the next domain on a new line. Repeat for each domain you're transferring, one per line.

  12. Step 12

Set the Registrar Lock, Auto-Renew, Whois, and Password options as you wish.

  13. Step 13

    Click "next".

  14. Step 14

    Click "submit".

  15. Step 15

When you (or the Whois contacts listed at Network Solutions) receive the email from eNom asking for approval of the transfer, do so by following the instructions in the email.

Tips & Warnings
  • There are a few unscrupulous businesses that "hijack" names -- transfer unlocked domains to themselves, effectively stealing them. Once you unlock your name, it's advisable to submit the transfer request at eNom quickly, to reduce the time window for any potential hijackers.
  • Make sure the transfer email that you approve is eNom's, not from one of these hijackers.
