1. Our soccer team hung out here. $99per room with free hot breakfast. The Holiday Inn Sacramento NorthEast is the nicest and closest Hotel for soccer games at Cherry Island. Call them at 916-338-5800. Ask them for the sports team rate. Then you get a free full buffet breakfast for up to 4 people per room.
2. the lobby had lots of room to hang out Be sure you are speaking to someone at the hotel. If you get transferred to the reservations office outside of the hotel....you probably won't get the special breakfast deal.
3. Outdoor pool for the kids was nice Ask for Melissa in the reservations office at the Holiday Inn Sacramento NorthEast. She helped us with my soccer team reservations. We had 4 people in each room and all got the buffet breakfast for free.
