How to Schedule an Email in Outlook 2007 or 2003

Ever wanted to schedule an email to be released at a future date and time? You can with Outlook 2007 (and 2003). My article will show you how easy it is.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Outlook 2007
  • Outlook 2003
  1. Step 1

    Open a new email and enter the email address and type your email as usual.

  2. Step 2
     

    Click the expand button for OPTIONS.

  3. Step 3
     

    Or...
    Click OPTIONS in the Ribbon > and then click DELAY DELIVERY

  4. Step 4
     

    Click the check box for "Do not deliver before is selected"

  5. Step 5

    Set your date and time.
    Click Close.

  6. Step 6

    The email will sit in your out box until the scheduled date and time.

Tips & Warnings
  • In OL2003, select MESSAGES > VIEW > OPTIONS
