How to Cook Carol's Pasta - Recipe Italian Food

Pasta tonight? If you are looking for a new pasta recipe or just to try some Italian food, then try this recipe for Carol's Pasta. It's an easy and quick pasta recipe that has Crab, Turkey or Chicken - like all great pastas.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • buttered casserole dish
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • ½ lb fresh mushrooms, sliced thick
  • 1 large jar pimentoes
  • 3 cups turkey or chicken breast, cooked and chopped
  • 2 cans crab meat (optional)
  • 1 package frozen peas
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 lb pasta (spaghetti or linguini), cooked
  • ½ teaspoon onion salt
  • ½ teaspoon celery salt
  • ½ teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • 12-16 oz sharp cheddar, diced
  • 2 cans golden mushroom soup
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup milk

Step1
The first step to cooking Carol's Pasta (great Italian food) is to cook pasta for 2 minutes less than directions specify; drain.
Step2
The next step in this recipe for Carol's Pasta is to saute onion,
green pepper, mushrooms, and celery until soft.
Step3
Then, add soup, mayonnaise, milk, turkey (or chicken), pasta, crabmeat, peas, and seasonings.
Step4
Add ¾ of the cheese. Place in a buttered casserole dish. Dot with remaining cheese.
Step5
Bake @ 400* until cheese browns – 30 to 35 minutes. Serve and enjoy this great Italian food recipe for Carol's pasta.

on 4/12/2008 If using spaghetti, would you recommend angel hair, thin or regular? Or does it not make a difference?
