Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Hearty appetite
  • Dependable car
  • Full wallet

Step1
Head to Little Italy for tasty Italian dishes. Savor the spicy pizza at Mama Santa's or the scrumptious pasta dinners at Trattoria Roman Garden.
Step2
Drive to Cleveland Heights for some well-prepared Greek food at The Mad Greek. Those with a few more bucks to spend can get their Greek food fix at Lolita's in the Tremont District.
Step3
Have a hankering for a corned beef sandwich? The best delicatessens west of New York just might be in Cleveland. Give Corky and Lenny's a try in the east side suburb of Beachwood or eat at Jack's Deli in University Heights. Looking for a gigantic sandwich? Try the moutainous sandwiches at Sliman's in downtown Cleveland. But you'll probably need to take half a sandwich home!
Step4
Ready for some seafood? A full wallet will be required, but such excellent seafood restaurants as Blue Point Grille in the Warehouse District or Don's Lighthouse on the near west side are both worth te money.
Step5
Looking for the best in Cajun and soul food? The House of Blues in downtown Cleveland is calling your name.
Step6
Head just about anywhere for great Chinese food. The Hunan restaurants in Cleveland are always satisfying and they won't break the bank.

Tips & Warnings

  • Money is rarely no object. But those with plenty to spend should try Sans Souci at the Renaissance Hotel in Cleveland or Mallorca in the Warehouse District. Both serve tremendous ethnic food; but keep in mind that only the well-dressed are permitted to enter.
  • Cleveland is a tough town to navigate. Use tools such as Mapquest or take along a passenger who knows Cleveland to prevent getting lost.
