Maintain a happy spirit. When you are happier, the mouth produces more saliva. Saliva actually helps to prevent tooth decay by reducing plaque. People who are depressed or become overly anxious often produce lower rates of salivary flow.
Step2
Kiss your mate. Kissing your mate encourages the production of saliva. After people eat, the mouth is loaded with sugar solution and acidic saliva, resulting in plaque build up. Kissing stimulates saliva production and reduces plaque levels to normal.
Step3
Chew more. Chewing is a normal exercise of the mouth. The more you chew, saliva glands increase in size and produces more saliva to reduce plaque.
Step4
Drink lots of liquids. Keeping your body hydrated will help to promote healthy saliva flow. Dehydration is a risk factor for salivary gland disease.
