Step1
Verify that the domain name is eligible for transfer -- that is, that the name has been registered for at least 60 days, is not expired, and is not in Registrar Lock status.
Step2
Log on to your account at NamesDirect.com.
Step3
Click "My Domains".
Step4
Select the check boxes by the name you want to transfer.
Step5
In the "Step 2" menu, select "Change Contact Information".
Step6
If you want to change the Registrant information, click "Owner".
Step7
Type any changes needed. It's especially important that the Registrant and Administrative email addresses be correct.
Step8
If you want to change the contact information for any other contact types, select the check boxes next to the contacts.
Step9
Click "Update" and then click "Yes".
Step10
To unlock the domain name, return to the "My Domains" page and select the check box by the domain you want to transfer.
Step11
In "Step 2" open the menu and select "Unlock these domains - to allow transfers".
Step12
To obtain the authorization code for the domain name, open the "Step 2" menu and select "Retrieve Authorization Code".
Step13
Click "Go". The authorization code will be emailed to the domain Registrant.
Step14
Now you're ready to create the transfer request at eNom.
Step15
Log on to your account at eNom, eNomCentral, or YouStart.
Step16
In the "DOMAINS" menu, click "transfer a domain name".
Step17
Select "Auto verification" and click "next".
Step18
Type in the domain name you want to transfer, a comma, a space, and then the authorization code. If you have more domains, hit "Enter" and type in the information for the next domain on a new line. Repeat for each domain you're transferring, one per line.
Step19
Set the Registrar Lock, Auto-Renew, Whois, and Password options as you wish.
Step22
When you (or the Whois contacts listed at NamesDirect) receive the email from eNom asking for approval of the transfer, do so by following the instructions in the email.
