How to Find a Sports Agent

Step1
The first step is to ask others. If you are an athlete with this type of talent you certainly have numerous contacts. Call professional athletes and ask them who their agent is.
Step2
Get the Sports Agent Directory. It has a long list.
Step3
Talk to many different agents. Don't jump on the first one you speak with. They might be the one you sign with, but make sure they are the best.
Step4
Check into their background, don't take their word for it. If they are truly what they claim this will not be a problem.
Step5
Remember, if you plan on playing in college, don't sign anything. Signing with an agent will instantly wipe out your eligibility.
