How to Knit Moss Stitch Diamond Panels
The moss stitch diamond panel is a simple way to make an interesting pattern. This pattern is done by stitching multiples of eight stitches and one stitch. Knit the first row as a normal row all the way to the end.

Knit row two by kitting one stitch, and then knit a repeating pattern of purl 7, knit 1, all the way across to the end of the row.

Knit row three by knitting 4 regular knit stitches, then form a repeating pattern of purl 1, knit 7. Repeat this pattern until there are only 5 stitches left. Knit the last 5 stitches as purl 1, knit 4.

Knit a single stitch at the beginning of row four, and then knit a repeating pattern of purl 2, knit 1, purl 1, knit 1, purl 2, knit 1. Repeat this pattern to the end.

Knit a single stitch at the beginning of row five, Then *purl 1, knit 1, twice. After that, purl 1, knit 3. Repeat from * until you get to the last 7 stitches. At that point, purl 1, knit 1 twice, then purl 1, knit 2. The asterisk (*) symbol is used when a row needs to be repeated and to make it easier to follow the instructions.

Knit row six as you did row 4. Knit row seven as you did row three. Knit row eight as you did row two. Repeat these eight rows to form a moss stitch diamond panel.
