The Fellowship of Christian Athletes membership means you work with other Christian Athletes. Coaches challenge you as a youth, young adult or professional athlete while your heart remains open to Jesus Christ. FCA is one the more inspirational fellowships in America that requires these steps to become a member.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Go to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes website (fca.org) and locate a local chapter nearest you.
Step2
Ask your nearest FCA local office if there is a local Huddle (chapter). Get all the contact information including name of contact person; phone number and address.
Step3
Contact the local Huddle and find out all the details about the group. Find out when and where they meet. Tell the contact which meeting you will attend.
Step4
Attend the meeting and see if the local FCA is your kind of group to belong to. If so, sign up and become a member.

Tips & Warnings

  • Some Huddles meet every week or every other week. Meeting twice a month is the average and is the minimum requirement. It is important to meet regularly.
  • Most FCA Huddles meet on campus or at a leader's home.
  • If you don't have a local Huddle, then you can ask the FCA State office if you can form a Huddle in your area. There is an online application for you to fill out in order to get the process started.
  • To receive a membership certificate for a Huddle costs in the neighborhood of $40 which covers Campus Ministry Kit. The campus group is insured for liability through FCA's liability insurance coverage.
  • The Campus Ministry Kit contains FCA Bible, Campus Playbook, equipment, DVD and CD about FCA with testimonials and other ministry tools like brochures and booklets.
