How to Knit a Parallelogram Pattern

      Take the first knitting needle and cast stitches on in multiples of 10.
      Row 1: Purl 5, Knit 5.
      Row 2: Knit 1, Purl 4, Knit 4, Purl 1.

      Complete Rows 3 and 4 by following these steps:
      Row 3: Knit 2, Purl 3, Knit 3, Purl 2.
      Row 4: Knit 3, Purl 2, Knit 2, Purl 3.

      Continue to the next two rows:
      Row 5: Knit 4, Purl 1, Knit 1, Purl 4.
      Row 6: Knit 5, Purl 5.

      Work through Rows 7 and 8:
      Row 7: Purl 1, Knit 4, Purl 4, Knit 1.
      Row 8: Purl 2, Knit 3, Purl 3, Knit 2.

      Keep working in the pattern until you get to the desired length:
      Row 9: Purl 3, Knit 2, Purl 2, Knit 3.
      Row 10: Purl 4, Knit 1, Purl 1, Knit 4.
      Cast off the stitches.
