Consult an attorney experienced in medical malpractice cases. She will be able to advise you if you have a lawsuit and how to go about bringing suit against the doctor.

Evaluate the doctor's standard of care. In order to be considered negligent in the court of law, you will have to prove that the doctor deviated from the standard of care. This means that most doctors in the same situation would not have done the same thing.

Locate expert witnesses. You will need to prove during trial, with expert testimony, that the doctor deviated from the standard of care.

Document thoroughly any injury you suffered due to the doctor's negligence. You can only sue a doctor if you suffered an injury as a result of the doctor's mistake. You cannot sue for the injury that first brought you to the doctor.

Bring copies of your complete medical records to court for the trial. Make a written request to the doctor's offices asking for your records. You are legally allowed to have copies of all records that doctors keep on you. You will need records from the office of the doctor you are suing as well as the doctor that treated you for any injury you sustained. The doctor you are suing cannot refuse to release your records.

my doctor had been prescribing me clonazepam 0.5 mg three times daily for three years now and stopped the medication instantly. Witch is known that if you come off of it instantly you will suffer from seizure and death. then he gives me a medication that will cause a seizure if you are coming off of these types of meds.

my wife went to day surgery to get tubes clamped with key hole surgery on friday they told her saturday she can come home not signing her out and no letters for local doctor on the sunday she was in xtreme pain and bleeding I decided to pull the so called bandage down to check the small key hole scars I saw she has a huge scar in abdomen looks like c section cut aparently the doctor sliced through her cervix while trying to clamp the tubes and had to do emergency c section type of operation to repair the cervix and sent her home following morning with nothing.

I need help finding an attorny in devonport tasmania, my dr put the implanon in less than 24 hrs afta me giving birth wen it clearly states u need 2 wait at least 28days before putting it in so that's only the start of the problem as a result of putting it in so early I am still bleeding 12wks afta giving birth and the other drs I have seen r unable 2 stop the bleeding the only way 2 stop it is by removing the implanon which ok fair enough happy to do but the dr put it in wrong and after 2 atepmts both by different dr and an ultrasound to locate it I have scars and stitches in my arm and the implanon is still in there both atempts took 3hrs and both failed I now need to be booked in for surgery to get it removed because instead of putting it just under the skin where it is ment to go the dr has put it deep in my arm between 2 muscles and right next to one of the main veins one little slip up during surgey and I could easily bleed to death, I have 2 small children to raise so if that happens they are going 2 be left with out a mother so I want to sue the dr because of his mistake it has left me destressed and with horrible scaring and now needing surgery which could lead to my kids growing up with out a mum, do you think I have a case?

I need help to find a attorney in jacksonville, FL I need to sue a OBG doctor I visited she put wrong IUD birth control in my body I am so scared can't even go through another doctor and get this thing out because of the pain she put me through she put the wrong IUD (the one w hormon) I requested in my medical forms and in person to her (IUD with no hormon) now it is in my body, i don't knw what to do my insraunce paid for it but they don't knw it is wrong one, I don't knw if insruance will refuse to pay them once find out they did wrong I dont' want to be responsbile pay for something i didn't request plus i went through so much pain during the procedure she is bad doctor I can't go back to her to take this out and replace it w correct one she refuses to return my call she refuses to provide me copy of my medical forms that shows I request non hormom birth control IUD I have...
