New Year’s Eve can be a fun night to spend with your fiancée. What can you do if your fiancée is working or out of town during the holiday? Here is how you can spend New Year’s Eve without your fiancée.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Have a movie marathon. Without your fiancée in your home, you could spend New Year’s Eve watching whatever movies you want without having to suffer through any “chick flicks.” You could go to your local store and rent movies or just flip through the channels. There are always several movie marathons on TV during New Year’s Eve

  2. Step 2

Spend New Year’s Eve playing video games. If you received an awesome video game as a Christmas gift, spend New Year’s Eve playing that particular game. Once again, you could also rent a couple of games.

  3. Step 3

Order takeout for dinner. Since your fiancée isn’t around, don’t waste time cooking. Order a dozen wings and a pizza and ring in the New Year with a delicious meal.

  4. Step 4

Invite your friends over for a poker tournament. Chances are at least a couple of your friends won’t have plans for New Year’s Eve. Call your friends a few days before New Year’s Eve and invite them over to your empty home for some cards.

  5. Step 5

Spend New Year’s Eve watching sports all day and all evening. Sit back, have a couple of beers and watch football, basketball and hockey. If there aren’t any sports on television, you could always find some online.

  6. Step 6

Go out with your friends on New Year’s Eve. Just because your fiancée isn’t around doesn’t mean that you have to be by yourself on New Year’s Eve. Ask your friends what they’re doing on New Year’s Eve and tag along.

  7. Step 7

Call your fiancée at midnight to wish her a happy New Year. It’s nice to ring in the New Year with your fiancée, even if she’s not physically with you. Calling her at midnight is also a great way to let her know that you’re thinking about her while she is away.
