Verify that the domain name is eligible for transfer -- that is, that the name has been registered for at least 60 days, is not expired, and is not in Registrar Lock status.

Log on to your account at MelbourneIT.com.au.

Click "View/Manage Domain Names"

Click the domain name you want to transfer.

If contact information needs to be updated (Registrant and Administrative email addresses are especially important), click "Change Contact Details" and then click "Go to Advanced Mode".

Make any needed changes and click "CONTINUE".

Click "Return to Maintenance Menu".

In the Domain Details section, click "Retrieve Domain Name (authinfo) Password".

Copy and save the password to use when you submit the transfer request at eNom.com.

Click "Domain Management Tools".

To unlock the domain, click "Unlock Domain Name".

Now you're ready to create the transfer request at eNom.

Log on to your account at eNom, eNomCentral, or YouStart.

In the "DOMAINS" menu, click "transfer a domain name".

Select "Auto verification" and click "next".

Type in the domain name you want to transfer, a comma, a space, and then the authorization code. If you have more domains, hit "Enter" and type in the information for the next domain on a new line. Repeat for each domain you're transferring, one per line.

Set the Registrar Lock, Auto-Renew, Whois, and Password options as you wish.

When you (or the Whois contacts listed at Melbourne IT) receive the email from eNom asking for approval of the transfer, do so by following the instructions in the email.
