Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- A case of bobby pins, preferably some that match or blend into your hair
- Just washed hair
- A hair brush
Step1
After washing your hair, brush your hair and part it in the center of your scalp.
Step2
Now, take a small section of hair from the front of the let side of your face. Brush through this section.
Step3
Lift the section up then braid it until you have less than an inch of hair unbraided.
Step4
Place the braided section of hair flat across your scalp moving toward the other side of your head. Place bobby pin through section and hair on scalp with opening facing upward.
Step5
Repeat these steps with a small section of hair on the right side of your face.
Step6
Now, take a second section from the left side of your face and either braid as before or twist toward the opposite direction of your face.
Step7
Again, use bobby pin to secure the section of hair.
Step8
Repeat these steps for the right side of the face.
Step9
Continue to follow these steps for the rest of your hair. Make sections to either braid or twist and place them toward the opposite side of your head, flat, and secure with bobby pin.
Step10
When you get to the hair in the back of your head, simply place the sections upward.
Step11
If you have a lot of hair sticking up on the top of your head, twirl the sections into a bun shape and secure with a bobby pin. Hair spray is not needed until hair is dry. This hairstyle typically stays in place for 6 to 8 hours.
