New video gaming systems like Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii are taking over living rooms all over the United States, but nothing beats a classic gaming system like the Super Nintendo. Sure, the graphics do not even compare to today’s amazing CG work, but there still is a lot of fun to be found in playing the Super Nintendo. Read on to learn how to play and find Super Nintendo games.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Buy one. Stores like Wal-Mart or Target certainly will not be selling the outdated systems, but many places like eBay and other sites offer full systems at relatively cheap prices. A lot of the packages come with games also and games themselves can be found pretty cheap. If you do not want to buy them online, constantly check classified ads, and visit local pawn shops. A Super Nintendo is bound to turn up somewhere.
Step2
Consider emulators. If you enjoy playing games on the computer, than you can find game emulators for almost any older system like Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Atari and of course the Super Nintendo. The best Super Nintendo Emulator is SuperNES and using a website like RomWorld, almost any game can be found, from Batman to Bubble Bobble to WWE Royal Rumble. Laws are sketchy about the ROMs though, so be careful and remember to read all the disclaimers before downloading.
Step3
Download games. Using the Nintendo Wii and their wireless Internet connection, just simply log into the Wii Store and see all of the Super Nintendo games available for download. They are played right on the Wii and save right to the system so they are guaranteed to work. There are no worries about blowing into a cartridge or having glitches from ROM downloads. The games are cheap too, and the Wii Store also offers Nintendo 64 games for reasonable prices.
Step4
Find a friend. Many people collect junk and older memorabilia so one of your friends is bound to own one of these classic systems. With a little pleading, you could borrow the Super Nintendo or play it at their house for a little while to get your enjoyment in. After the while they may get sick of you playing it at their house and let you borrow the whole thing.
