Break-up Using a Text Message
Break-up Using a Text Message

Ever since the early nineties people have been communicating worldwide with a few taps of their fingers on their phones' alpha numeric registry. Of course one form of communication (breaking up) that is best saved for an in-person meeting, has been used time and time again by those lacking the social skills to end their relationships with their romantic partners. These days more and more people are groaning about getting dumped via a cheesy text message. If you have ever wanted to sink to this low level of absurdity, here is how you do it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cellular phone
  • Urge to end your relationship in a lame manner
  • Ability to send a text message
  • Knack for writing
  • Lack of social skills and verbal communication
  1. Step 1

Open your text message creator in your cellular phone. Search your phone address book until you find the number of the person you are looking to end a relationship with.

  2. Step 2

Write the lamest message possible. Create a short one sentence break up message that entails something to this extent, “It’s over, I am breaking up with you.”

  3. Step 3

Send the message. Click send and sigh in relief as you just escaped an in-person break up that you could not handle to dish out verbally.

  4. Step 4

Do not answer any incoming calls. It is of the up most importance that you do not answer any incoming calls from the party you just broke up with via text message. They are calling to discuss verbally your reasons; however you have chosen to eliminate that by using a cheesy text message.

Tips & Warnings
  • The shorter and more to the point the message is the better.
  • If you break up using a text message keep your eyes peeled for the lame police, they may just come and take you away.
