Getting into the holiday spirit sometimes requires a little creativity. Celebrate Christmas by exchanging ornaments with friends and family. Read on to learn how to organize an ornament exchange.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Family and friends
Step1
Pick a date that you think most of your guest list will be free to attend.
Step2
Mail invitations to your guest list. Explain to them they can either buy a nice ornament or make one.
Step3
On the day of the party, after guests have mingled for a little bit, exchange ornaments.
Step4
In order to exchange ornaments, write the number of guests on individual pieces of paper. Fold the paper and put into a hat. Have every guest pick a number. The person with number one gets to pick the first ornament. The next person can then either pick the ornament number one picked or pick from the pile.
Step5
As the game goes on, people become closer by fighting over ornaments. After the last person has selected their ornament, continue mingling.
