- 1 med onion, chopped (½ c)
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp dried rosemary, crushed
- ¼ tsp dried marjoram, crushed
- 1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper
- ¼ c whipping cream
- Snipped parsley and finely grated apple for garnish

The first step in making butternut squash and apple soup is to peel and cut up the squash.
