There is nothing a woman hates more than being called fat. At the same time, no one wants a fat girlfriend. Here’s a way you can help your girlfriend lose weight without sending her into a hellish fit.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Step1
Tell her you want to cook for her for a while. After all, she’s so stressed and busy she needs a break, right? Also, hint that eating all that junk food is making you feel lethargic and bloated.
Step2
Take over shopping duties. Buy lots of healthy food, especially fresh produce. Do not buy too many carbohydrate rich foods, and stay away from fats, oils, and sugars.
Step3
Find out what kind of physical exercise she likes. Wait a couple of days.
Step4
Tell her you’re going to go and do the aforementioned exercise. Ask her to come along with you. Set up a regimen so that the two of you get into the habit of exercising together. This is a great way to spend time as a couple.
Step5
If she refuses to improve her diet or become active, then tell her you are concerned about her health. If she doesn’t understand what you mean, then it is time to directly tell her she needs to lose weight. She’ll throw a fit either way, but if she sees your point, she’ll do something about it. If not, she’ll unleash her wrath. If she really needs to lose weight but refuses to accept that fact, then break up with her.

Tips & Warnings

  • The best way to accomplish this is to pretend that you are the one with the weight problem, not her.
  • A lot of this advice depends on the girl. Some women like subtle hints, while others want your frank opinion. Either way, there’s a tactful way to suggest things, so think before you speak.
  • Make sure she feels loved and appreciated throughout the process.
  • Do not blame yourself. You are, in fact, looking out for her health. Everyone has the right to give health counsel to their loved ones.
  • There is one GRAVE danger you must not overlook: Eating disorders. Make sure that you do not allow her to fall prey to one of these horrible disorders. You should monitor her eating habits if you are worried about this, and if you notice something awry, get help from a professional.
