Things You'll Need:
- Movie club membership
- DVD/VCR player
-
Step 1
Once you sign up for a movie club membership like Netflix or Blockbuster.com, go on to their website and browse through their movie list selections and choose which films you want to add to your queue.
-
Step 2
The movies are listed in the order you selected them. However you have the option to move the movie titles up or down at will in the queue list. Each movie will be sent to you as soon as another movie has been returned.
-
Step 3
With the three movies that you usually can rent out at any given time, the best way to make the most of your movie club membership is to watch all the DVDs quickly and send them back as soon as you've finished watching them. If you live nearby a facility's warehouse, then as soon as you pop a DVD in the mail in its prepaid return mailer, and they receive it the next day, your next movie title is shipped right out to you. In essence, you can receive a new movie within two days from when you sent the last one back.
-
Step 4
With these odds and the rapidness of the mail back process, if you're diligent and watch all your movies as soon as you get them, and return them back just as quickly, you could average about 15 to 20 movies a month - all for the base monthly membership fee ranging between $10 to $20.
-
Step 5
If you stop and think about it, each rental then is $1.50 or less – which totally beats the regular $4.50 movie rental price for just one movie! That's extra money for popcorn and candy!
