Are you a lively and fun person full of life and yet you have friends and relatives who are not as spontaneous and lively as you are? As a matter of fact, they appear to be a little too serious, reluctant and passive about having a good time. Well, believe it or not, there are things you can do with your passive friend or relative to make your time together a more fun and enjoyable event.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Step1
Be playful, fun loving and friendly. Passive people tend to be very serious people who tend to give out the feeling that they want to be left alone, but this is not necessarily true. They love to be played with and shown love. This helps them to begin to express themselves as well.
Step2
Include them in conversations. The passive person may not be much of a talker at first, however, the more you talk and get to know each other, you will find that you will have very interesting and fun conversations.
Step3
Include them in activities. A passive person enjoys having fun just as much as the next person even though he may not always show it. Passive people enjoy having a good time too and can be fun to be with.
Step4
Appreciate a passive person for who she is and know that she is fun, interesting and have a lot to offer in her own mysterious way.

Tips & Warnings

  • People are not always what they appear to be in the beginning, so it's important to try not to be intimidated or offended by their facial expressions or their lack of social skills.
  • Passive people are not as proactive as others, yet they may need proactive people to help them to get more involved in activities.
