Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- 1 can Bing cherries with juice
- 1 (3 oz.) package cherry Jello
- 1 (8 oz.) can of Coke
- 1/2 cup Chopped celery
- 1/2 cup nuts (walnuts, peanuts and almonds work the best)
- 1 small package of cream cheese
Step1
Drain Bing cherries with juice draining into a small sauce pan. Set cherries aside. Add enough water to the juice to make one cup. Bring the mixture to a boil and completely dissolve Jello. Lower heat.
Step2
Add can of Coke and let the mixture begin to thicken, stirring every once in awhile. Once it has thickened, stir in the Bing cherries, celery and nuts.
Step3
Remove from heat. Stir in softened cream cheese until everything is mixed. Refrigerate in covered dish for 30-40 minutes.
Step4
Place chilled mixture on flat surface. Cut up into random chunks or roll into small balls. Serve with lemonade, ice tea or some other cool summer drink.
