Step1

You can save the chart into your PC and print it out.
Step2
The left and right boxes at the top side are representing your mini site web pages. A bold double line in the middle of the page represents the border of 2 different system. Arrow lines show the flow of the data.
Step3
To start the plan, label all the necessary details within the boxes.
Step4
Label the first top left box with your domain name. For example, www.yourdomain.com
Step5
Inside the first box, put a headline title of the first web page that you going to do.
Step6
In the submit box, simple sketch out the form fields that you want to collect from your visitors. For example, Name and Email.
Step7
Since we are doing a landing page system (also known as squeeze page), after the first box from left, you have 2 options, whether you want your visitor go to a thank you download page to download the free products or redirect them back to your auto responder system. Decide only 1 method and after you had decided, cancel out the line that you do not want.
Step8
If you choose to redirect them to a than you page, again, label the second box with a headline, for example, Thank You Download Page.
Step9
The next important steps will be naming your html web pages files, within the curve boxes.
Step10
The first web page will be always named as index.htm or index.html (both are the same). So, go ahead now and write down the file name.
Step11
Next, name the second box, which is your thank you download page, with a name you like, for example, thank-you-dlg-page.htm (Put a name which you are the only person know, give it a long name or something with strange character, in order to avoid hijacking)
Step12
You have free products for subscriber to download right, so go and named your product in the curve box at the very top right hand side, which is in archive format, for example, tqgift.zip
Step13
After that, go down to the bottom pages, which will be your auto responder system. Named your new auto responder account for this project mailing list. Write in the curve box inside the Auto responder System box.
Step14
The final step is simply draft out your first message to be sent out to your list, remember to put your product download link, which you had already named it in previous step.

on 12/20/2007 This mind chart work the best on opt-in web pages, and the main objective is to collect list. After you have the list, you can keep upselling your list through your autoresponder. You can modify it to suit your popup page as well.

on 12/20/2007 Does this work best as a popup page? Looks like there is a navigation dead end. Buy and close?
