Baby books, also known as board books, are difficult to store. They are too thick and yet too small to store with other books. Here's a fun way to both recycle oatmeal or cereal boxes and make a personal little book box for yourself and your child.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • glue
  • scissors
  • baby books (board books)
  • pictures or other scrapbooking accessories
  • paper
  • markers
  • instant oatmeal or similarly sized box
  1. Step 1

Empty out the instant oatmeal box. Cut off the flaps used to close it.

  2. Step 2

Cut your construction or other decorative paper to fit the sides of the box when the box is upright.

  3. Step 3

Choose how you wish to decorate the box. Lay out your design on paper and glue it or draw it down.

  4. Step 4

Glue the final design onto the sides of the box and allow to dry.

  5. Step 5

Choose the books that will go in this box. You can do it by theme or however you see fit. Use them to decorate your child's room.
