Business travel can be hectic and stressful. If you aren't a frequent traveler, here are a few tips to make things a little easier.

From Quick Guide: Business Travel 101
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Plan ahead. Make sure travel dates don’t conflict with personal events such as birthdays, anniversaries, school events if possible.

  2. Step 2

If flying, print out your iteniary and file it until you leave for your trip. This save you from scrambling at the last minute for your airline, departure times, etc.

  3. Step 3

If renting a car when you arrive at your destination, be sure to print out driving directions. Of course you can rent navigation devices for a reasonable price, but it's helpful to have those directions printed out just in case.

  4. Step 4

Check in online within 24 hours of your scheduled departure, if possible, for time and piece of mind.

  5. Step 5

Make sure to have cash on hand with several one dollar bills for tips during a business trip.
