Step 1
Pick your bank. Despite the hundreds of Swiss banks the two biggest are UBS and Credit Suisse. These two goliaths have the most extensive international networks and solid reputations.
-
Step 2
Contact the bank you want to do business with. The bank will tell you the terms and conditions of doing business. Despite the famous secrecy of Swiss bank accounts, many bankers will want to get to know with whom they are doing business.
-
Step 3
Make an initial deposit. Most banks require at least $1,000 for the initial deposit plus start-up and maintenance fees.
-
Step 4
Brag. You now officially have a Swiss bank account and can legitimately act like a spy and/or criminal.

I had good fortune to stumble upon this web site when I was deciding to open a Swiss Bank account. I got one opened with no problem. They offer an inexpensive service also.

on 9/28/2009 I used www.swissprivatebank.com . They arranged a consultation with a Swiss private banker, who helped me organise my financial affairs. I opened an account, and I have been happy with their services, I would recommend www.swissprivatebank.com to anyone who is looking for wealth management services.
