Things You'll Need:
- Garmin Nuvi 350
- MP3
- Garmin Nuvi 350 Data Cable
-
Step 1
Make sure you have the data cable that is included with the Nuvi 350. Connect it to the GPS system and in the USB port in your computer
-
Step 2
The GPS will be recognized as a new hard drive. More than likely a pop-up will ask you what you would like to do with the new device, if that happens choose "Open Folder To View Files." If that doesn't happen, click the "Start" button, then choose "My Computer." The double click on the new hard drive.
-
Step 3
When the hard drive opens, there will be a couple of folders, open the folder titled "MP3." There will probably be a couple of sample songs in there, delete them to get extra space (unless of course you like the sample songs).
-
Step 4
Now all that you have to do is drag-and-drop the MP3 files into the MP3 folder.

on 1/4/2008 This is a wonderful transfer method with little to no effort and thanks for including the what if a new device is not detected.
