Want to put MP3's on your new GPS. Come look...

Please note, this tutorial is for a Windows operating system.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Garmin Nuvi 350
  • MP3
  • Garmin Nuvi 350 Data Cable
  1. Step 1

Make sure you have the data cable that is included with the Nuvi 350. Connect it to the GPS system and in the USB port in your computer

  2. Step 2

The GPS will be recognized as a new hard drive. More than likely a pop-up will ask you what you would like to do with the new device, if that happens choose "Open Folder To View Files." If that doesn't happen, click the "Start" button, then choose "My Computer." The double click on the new hard drive.

  3. Step 3

When the hard drive opens, there will be a couple of folders, open the folder titled "MP3." There will probably be a couple of sample songs in there, delete them to get extra space (unless of course you like the sample songs).

  4. Step 4

Now all that you have to do is drag-and-drop the MP3 files into the MP3 folder.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure the files are MP3's and don't have DRM on them.
  • Songs purchased on iTunes will not work on the Nuvi.
