Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/3 cup butter (NOT margarine)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon Postum (or coffee granules)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  1. Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 350. Mix softened butter, brown sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and cinnamon until light and fluffy (it should resemble coarse crumbs).

  2. Step 2

Add the egg whites and sour cream. Mix until well blended. Add the flour, 1/2 cup at a time. Mix well. Dough will be sticky.

  3. Step 3

Drop by rounded teaspoons into the granulated sugar, and coat. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, and bake for 8-10 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Enjoy!
