Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Bring one cup of water to a boil, and then pour it over one tablespoon of anise seed. Cover the mixture and allow it to steep for 15 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Strain the mixture into a cup or glass and sweeten it with honey. Be sure to add the honey to the mixture if desired while hot to make sure the honey blends properly with the mixture.

  3. Step 3

    Drink it while it is still hot or warm. Use as needed.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you dislike honey or are allergic to it try sweetening the mixture with your favorite sweetener.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to anise seed or honey.
