If you work outdoors or even spend a lot of time outdoors then chances are you've experienced chapped skin at one time or another. Calendula petals can be very soothing for chapped skin. In this article you will learn how to help heal and sooth chapped skin with calendula petals.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Water
  • Calendula petals
  • Strainer

Step1
Bring one pint of water to a boil and then pour the boiling water over five tablespoons of calendula petals.
Step2
Allow the water and calendula petals to steep for 30 minutes. Once 30 minutes is up, strain the water and petals, and use as a compress.
Step3
This can be very soothing. It is also good for scrapes and minor cuts.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to calendula petals.
