Things You'll Need:
- Invitations
- List of items the bride needs for her kitchen
- Favorite recipes

Step 1
Help the bride go through her kitchen inventory to determine what she needs. See Resources below for a great comprehensive list of essential kitchen items. You can print this off and go through it with the bride. Then create a registry list to include in all of your invitations. You will want to include items in all price ranges in case some guests want to go together to buy a larger item.
-
Step 2
Set your shower date and time then prepare your guest list. You will want to include friends and family of the bride so ask her help in obtaining names and addresses.
-
Step 3
A great gift for the hostess to provide is a beautiful recipe box. To fill this for her you can include one of the blank recipe cards with each invitation and ask that guests please fill it out with a favorite recipe and attach it with their gift. As the bride opens her gift she will be able to fill her recipe box. You can even specify that the recipe correlates with the kitchen tool or product the guest brings. Send your invitations with registry list and recipe card out about one month before the shower.

Step 4
Another great gift for the bride is an apron that can double as a guest book for the shower. Pick a solid color apron and then provide paint pens for guests. As they arrive you can ask them all to sign the apron with a fun note. It will become a cherished gift for the bride!

Step 5
Enjoy the shower and have fun with the bride and guests. Have good food, drinks, and party games to keep people entertained. There is a great link below in Resources that has ideas for bridal shower party games.
