Whisk flour, baking soda and salt in small mixing bowl.
-
Step 2
Use electric mixer to combine butter and sugar until fluffy. This may take 2 to 3 minutes. Add vanilla and eggs to mixture and beat until incorporated. Add flour mixture and beat only until combined. With a spoon, stir in chocolate chunks.
-
Step 3
Cover and place in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
-
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and be sure rack is in center of oven. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or non-stick aluminum foil. Roll two tbsp. of dough into round balls on baking sheet and flatten only slightly.
-
Step 2
Bake cookies 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Check them after about 6 minutes, as ovens vary and some cook quicker than others.
-
Step 3
When cookies come out of the oven, allow them to cool on wire cooling racks, if possible. Feel free to try them while warm, when they taste their best!

on 12/20/2007 I adore these cookies. They put out some monster chocolate bars for Christmas and Valentine's Day. They make the best chocolate chunks and are super cheap if you wait to buy them until the day after the holiday. Thanks for the yummy cookies.
