Valentines day is short for Saint Valentine's Day. Valentine is a greeting card or note sent to a sweetheart on Feb. 14th containing a message or poem of sentimental love, and sometimes along with a gift. I sure hope I get a special hand written poem or gift, or both would be pretty great too. What do you think?

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Your sweetheart or friend.
  • A card with something special written in it.
  • A gift. (optional)
  • A special dinner for two.
  • Candles and music.

Step1
Valentine Day Card. I have loved Valentine's day since I was a kid. I loved giving and receiving all those cute little cards to classmates, friends and family members. I also enjoyed making my own.
Step2
Searching for that special card/gift for your special person. When we get older it becomes a little different, a little more special, if you will. This time you're looking for just the right card/gift for just the right person, that very special person in your life.
Step3
Write something special in the Valentine card you picked out for your special person. You finally found that perfect card, now write something special in your own words in the card, for example, My Heart For You Is Beating, My Love For You Is Pleading, To Never Let Me Catch You Cheating. OK! I'm just kidding about that one, but something similar might work.
Step4
Table for two at your favorite restaurant. Now the for the dinner, make plans to go to a favorite restaurant, if you don't have a favorite restaurant, decide on one and make it the special place to go only for special occasions. Wear something that you know your partner likes on you.
Step5
Pick out a recipe from your cookbook. If you choose to stay home on Valentine's Day, plan a dinner you and your partner can cook together, something different, something that would be fun to cook together. Wear something fun and comfortable. Play your favorite love songs, and maybe even have some champagne while cooking.
Step6
Enjoy each other on this special day for lovers. Have the table set up before dinner is ready, maybe have some candles and flowers on the table. Each of you place the card/gift on you're partners side of the table. Enjoy you're dinner and each other on this special day.

Tips & Warnings

  • Place a DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door.
  • Don't use the poem in step 3, that was just a silly example and the other person will not like it very well.
