Everyone loves sweet potato pie. Making it for Passover is a cinch. Your family won’t be able to tell that this is a Passover specialty.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mixing bowl
  • 1 1/2 cups sweet potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/3 cup margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup water

    Make the Crust for Your Passover Sweet Potato Pie

  1. Step 1

    Mix these ingredients together.

  2. Step 2

    Blend well.

  3. Step 3

    Press the mixture into an 8 inch pie pan. There's no need to bake this pie crust.

  4. Make the Filling for Your Passover Sweet Potato Pie

  5. Step 1

    Mix all of the filling ingredients together in a bowl, except for the pecan halves. Pour this mixture into the crust.

  6. Step 2

    Arrange the pecan halves in a small circle on the top of the sweet potato pie.

  7. Step 3

    Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean.
