How to Get Your Contacts in With Ease

  1. Step 1

Open your contact lens case. Use your left hand to grab the contact lens between your thumb and forefinger. Pull it out.

  2. Step 2

Place the contact on the pad of the forefinger on your right hand. Make sure the contact looks like a smooth little cup sitting on top of your finger.

  3. Step 3

Pull the skin below your eye down with the middle and ring finger of your right hand, opening the eye a bit.

  4. Step 4

Look up and gently press the contact against your eyeball. You shouldn't feel the pressure of your finger, just that of the contact lens.

  5. Step 5

Pull your finger away, blink a few times. Repeat with the other eye.

Tips & Warnings
  • I am right-handed, which is why I use my right hand to do most of the work here. If you're a lefty, you may want to do the reverse.
