Things You'll Need:

• List of friends and family you would like to invite
• Invitations
• Food
• Ranch style decor
• Texas trivia
• Country music

1. Send out invitations up to a month in advance.

2. The morning of the party, set up your space and tables to look like a real Texas ranch.

3. Serve food buffet style so guests can help themselves.

4. After dinner, play a game of Texas Trivia.

Tips & Warnings

• Try to recreate a Texas Ranch by using items such as pictures of the Alamo, cowboy decor, Southwestern style decor, and other ranch style decor.
• Serve Texas favorites such as chili or an authentic barbecue. Serve the chili in a large cast iron chili pot to tie in the ranch feel.
• Create a trivia game to play with your guests such as questions about Texas history and important people who have lived in the state.
• Decorate your tables with authentic Texas flag colors (red white and blue).
