How to Decorate a Margaritaville Themed Tree

Wish you were off the coast of somewhere beautiful and tropical this holiday season? Maybe you love the look of Margaritaville and want to enjoy a themed tree all year long? Either way, showing off your Margaritaville-themed tree will make you feel like you are lost on some tropical island.

Things You'll Need:

• Artificial Christmas or Palm tree
• Christmas tree lights
• Margaritaville-themed ornaments

1. Find the perfect tree. An artificial tree of your choice will work fine.

2. Arrange your color choice of lights around the tree.

3. Hang Margaritaville or tropically-inspired ornaments on your tree.

4. Display the tree for others to see.

Tips & Warnings

• Go to your local craft outlet or department store to find a tree that suits your needs.
• A Christmas tree can be left out all year long with island-inspired ornaments on it.
• A silk Palm tree also works as a fine substitution for an artificial Pine.
• Many Christmas ornament stores will sell island-inspired ornaments and lights.
• Flamingo lights can be found at specialty stores and can be a nice addition to your tree.
• If you can't find Margaritaville merchandise online or in a designated store, substitute for off brand Tiki items, margarita glasses, salt shakers, parrots, sharks and even Hawaiian attire ornaments such as flip flops.
• Never leave lights on a tree when unattended, this can pose as a fire hazard.
