How to Host a Halo 3 Party

With the latest craze of the video game halo 3 becoming so popular with teens and young adults, having a party and inviting friends can allow you all to celebrate together your love for the game. Whether it be a birthday party or a casual get together, implementing the Halo 3 theme into your party can allow you to enjoy the game in a group setting.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Guest list and invitations
• Halo 3 party supplies
• XBOX 360
• Halo 3
• Halo 3 trivia
• Small notepads
• Pens
• Halo 3 playing cards, Microsoft Xbox live points, or other small items to give as door prizes and gifts
• Small gift bags
• LAN setup (optional)
• Multiple televisions (optional)
• Light refreshments

1. Compile a list of your fellow Halo 3 gamers and send out invitations to your party up to a month in advance.

2. 
   A special edition Halo 3 Xbox 360.

   Have your Xbox 360 set up to have Halo 3 ready to play for those who want to show off their skills. If you have less than 16 guests and the capabilities of LAN, have everyone bring their own system and controllers so you can network the guests to play simultaneously.

3. Create an atmosphere of the future, with outer space as being the main theme.

4. Create and play a fun filled trivia game full of facts of the Halo 3 world. Have guests play for a prize.

5. 

   Order a pizza and have a variety of soft drinks and water available for guests.

Tips & Warnings

• Some Halo trivia: Q. What is The Master Chief's real name? A. John; Q. How tall is the Master Chief? A. 7 feet; Q. How much does the Master Chief weigh? A. 1,000 lbs.
• Halo 3 party supplies are very hard to find, so try supplementing with Sci-Fi or outer space cups, plates and napkins.
• Use posters and magazine cut outs of Master Chief to decorate your party room.
• Download snippets of the Halo 3 soundtrack and burn to a CD to play during the party.
• If you want to add a dash of creativity to your party, have guests come dressed in their favorite Halo attire and costumes.
• Optional: Suggest on the invitations that this will be a 24 hour LAN party.
