Black Russians are one strong alcoholic beverage and white Russians tend to be a bit too mild for some. A combination of the two is an extremely eclectic drink of choice.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Freeze the cream. The key to the black to white Russian is the cream. At least 4 hours before mixing, freeze the cream in ice cube trays.
Step2
Add the ingredients. Fill a drink glass with frozen cream cubes half way. Add one shot of vodka and two shots of Kahlua.
Step3
Wait 1 minute. In order for this drink to mix properly, you will want to wait a minute and allow the cubes to begin to melt. As the cubes melt, the black Russian will instantly transform into a white Russian.

Tips & Warnings

  • Try using flavored creams to change the final taste.
  • Do not add the cream cubes before they are frozen.

on 12/18/2007 Were you a bartender in a former life? I have one in the family and haven't heard of some of these drinks.
