How to Get Goemon Ishikawa's Fifth Weapon (the Takemikazuchi) in Samurai Warriors

The Takemikazuchi is one of the few 5th weapons found in a castle level. You'll have to put your plundering skills to the test in the Osaka Intrusion stage. The weapon you will be looking for has the following stats:


Base Attack: 49
Element: Lightning

Life: +49
Ranged Defense: +27
Movement: +49
Agility: +36

To get the Takemikazuchi, you'll have to find the three treasures on the first floor and search each room on the second floor within 5 minutes of reaching that floor.

Difficulty: Easy

Things You'll Need:

• Goemon Ishikawa unlocked (clear Story Mode with Kenshin Uesugi, then Keiji Maeda, then Okuni)
• Goemon Ishikawa's Story Mode cleared once
• Access to the upper branch of Goemon's Tale

1. If playing on the Samurai Warriors:Xtreme Legends expansion, import data from the original Samurai Warriors if you haven't done so already. SKIP THIS STEP if you are not playing Xtreme Legends.

2. Set the difficulty to "Hard" or "Chaos", or if you are playing on Samurai Warriors:Xtreme Legends and have purchased the special bonus available from the options menu that allows you to obtain 5th weapons on Normal difficulty, you may set it to Normal instead.

3. Begin Free Mode or Story Mode and play as Goemon Ishikawa. Play the Osaka Intrusion stage on Goemon's Tale.

4. Equip Tengu Sandals for speed, since time will be a factor for certain. Equipping the Guiding Doll may also be helpful in finding the three treasures on the first floor quickly. The Lantern will show all the rooms on the second floor, which will help you find them all, but will prevent you from knowing where you've already looked.

5. Begin the stage, and start hunting for treasures. Only three treasures need to be collected to advance to the next floor, and neither officer need be eliminated.

6. Advance to the next floor, and start searching rooms. It really does help to have the lantern in this part, since you can plan ahead a path to search all the floors. The exact layout can vary from version to version, but you'll need to search each room. Goemon will complain about the number of rooms at a certain point, and will interject when you have three rooms left and one room left to search.
   
   You have 5 minutes from when you begin the second floor to search all the rooms, NOT 5 minutes from the beginning of the stage as some guides state.

7. If you manage to look in all the rooms within 5 minutes, the precious item will appear in the room leading to the stairs to the next floor. Colelct the weapon by smashing the box.

8. Clear the next two floors as normal and defeat Hanzo Hattori at the top floor to end the stage. The Takemikazuchi is now yours!
